Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports the operational functions of the warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving incoming freight, checking for damages or shortages, distributing materials, filling orders, and maintaining inventory and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Receive incoming freight, check for damages or shortages.
• Distribute materials to proper stock locations.
• Fill special orders and backorders.
• Follow up on receiving discrepancies, damages, shortages.
• Check and pack materials for delivery.
• Coordinate deliveries, maintain shipping equipment, and keep work area safe.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and orderliness.
• Operate and maintain delivery vehicles and equipment safely.
• Support warehouse operations and communicate inventory issues.

Non-essential Functions

• Assist with customer service functions like order entry, returns, and Will Call.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred two years of work experience, including warehouse and forklift operation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving criteria if applicable.
• Knowledge of Windows, Internet, email, and SAP is a plus.
