Job summary

Foundation Building Materials is seeking a Warehouse Associate in the United States to join a fast-paced, hands-on team focused on receiving, organizing, and safely loading materials with precision and pride.

You will provide customer service, maintain product knowledge, and participate in inventories while following OSHA guidelines and completing required trainings. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Building supply warehouse experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate forklift occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers entering the warehouse.
• Maintain a full understanding of products by identification, weight, and size.
• Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials.
• Allocate and move material to its correct place and maintain an orderly warehouse.
• Maintain packing specifications and prepare skids/pallets as needed.
• Participate in monthly/annual inventories.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Attend required company trainings.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Product Knowledge
• Provide service to customers entering the warehouse
• Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services
• Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size
• Warehouse Operations & Maintenance
• Perform minor building maintenance when necessary
• Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials
• Allocate and move material to its correct place and always ensure an orderly warehouse
• Maintain packing specifications, and make suitable skids/pallets, etc
• Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories
• Safety
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment
• Use proper lifting techniques
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
• Trainings
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs
• Physical Requirements
• Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
• Occasional operation of forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 100 lbs. utilizing proper lifting procedures
• Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned

Qualifications

• Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred
• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

• Base: $ 20.00-21.00 per hour
