Job summary

Plaza Tire Service, powered by Sun Auto Network, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Cape Girardeau, MO to stock, pick, and deliver tires and supplies.

You will maintain inventory, load and unload trucks, and follow safety procedures while performing daily warehouse tasks. Must be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift 60–130 lbs; work five days between Monday and Saturday.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess current and valid driver’s license.
• Driving experience in medium trucks preferred.
• Must be able to lift 60-130lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work 5 days between Monday-Saturday.

Responsibilities

Plaza Tire Service handles the inventory needs of its store locations and wholesale customers through the Cape Girardeau Distribution Center. As a Warehouser, you will be stocking and maintaining the warehouse, working hands on with all day-to-day functions of the warehouse and delivering tires and supplies.

COMPENSATION: $18/ hour

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The Warehouse Associate will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside.

The Warehouse Associate must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
• Lift and/or move 60-130 pounds repetitively
