Job summary

Cencora is seeking team members to support its distribution services in the US, based at Brooks, KY. This role involves picking, packing, and shipping orders, with a Wednesday–Saturday shift from 10:00am to finish and a starting pay of $19.00 per hour, with potential to earn more through incentives and bonuses.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, verification of incoming goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to read and understand the English language.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.
• Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are important.
• Overtime is common in distribution centers.
• Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks.
• Warehouse or distribution experience is preferred (1 year or less).
• Experience with RF scanning equipment is beneficial.

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details

Wednesday - Saturday 10:00am to Finish.

Pay Details

Pay starting at $19.00 with potential for up to $23.48 based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment – stocking, restocking, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer orders.
• Perform daily cycle counting and researching discrepancies.
• Use equipment to track, monitor and verify products for distribution.
• Maintain a clean work area to keep pharmaceutical products and merchandise clean and help prevent work related injuries.
• Verify product received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages (dependent on shift assignment).

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills & Knowledge

• Able to work in climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to read and understand the English language
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.
• Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
• Able to work the shift hours listed above, plus overtime. (Overtime in most Distribution Centers is mandatory to enable real-time delivery)
• Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.
• Warehouse or Distribution experience preferred (1 year or less)
• Able to work with RF scanning equipment

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; products vary in weight and size
• Comfortable walking up to 8 miles per shift (steps vary by role and shift)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
