Job summary

AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation in Brooks, KY is seeking a warehouse associate to support order fulfilment, stocking, picking, packing and outbound shipping for customer orders.

You will perform daily cycle counts, use RF scanning equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting distribution standards in a climate-controlled distribution center. The role also requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing long periods, and working the Wednesday–Saturday shift from 10:00am to finish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
• Stand and walk long shifts to meet distribution standards.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Overtime may be required in distribution centers.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution preferred.

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details:

Wednesday - Saturday 10:00am to Finish.

Pay Details:

Pay starting at $19.00 with potential for up to $23.48 based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses. Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment – stocking, restocking, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer orders.
• Perform daily cycle counting and researching discrepancies.
• Use equipment to track, monitor and verify products for distribution.
• Maintain a clean work area to keep pharmaceutical products and merchandise clean and help prevent work related injuries.
• Verify product received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages (dependent on shift assignment).

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Able to work in climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to read and understand the English language
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.
• Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
• Able to work the shift hours listed above, plus overtime. (Overtime in most Distribution Centers is mandatory to enable real-time delivery)
• Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.
• Warehouse or Distribution experience preferred (1 year or less)
• Able to work with RF scanning equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; products vary in weight and size
• Comfortable walking up to 8 miles per shift (steps vary by role and shift)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
