Job summary

Precision Alloy Services, Inc. in Bowling Green, OH seeks a dependable manufacturing associate to help fulfill orders, manage inventory, and assist with equipment setup. You will read engineering drawings, use hand and power tools, and help maintain quality and safety in a ISO 9001:2015/AS9100 Rev D environment.

Responsibilities include safely moving materials, supporting waterjet, band saw, and centerless grinder processes, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Mechanical and electrical experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required; CAD experience is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Safety-conscious with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
  • Forklift and overhead crane experience is preferred but not required; training can be provided.
  • Willingness to learn new equipment (waterjet, band saw, centerless grinder, etc.), processes, and procedures.

  • Safely handle, move, and stage materials throughout the facility.
  • Support the setup and operation of manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and basic measurements.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, and other equipment as required.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and support maintenance activities.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations involving fractions and decimals.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, quality requirements, and QMS standards.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
  • Assist other team members and departments as needed to support business operations.
