Job summary

Lansing Building Products, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help uphold our mission of respect, service, and excellence in daily warehouse activities. You will greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks while using RF scanners and the TWL Warehouse Management System to move and track products.

You will verify order accuracy, assist with lifting boxes up to 70 pounds, keep the warehouse clean, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift boxes and materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with RF scanners and TWL Warehouse Management System.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks.
• Move, track, and manage products using TWL WMS.
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received.
• Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse and work well with others.

Responsibilities:

• Live our mission statement centered on our values of respect, service, and excellence
• Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload customer and company trucks
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products through our Warehouse Management System (TWL)
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received
• Lift and move boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 pounds
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly

Qualifications:

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)
• High integrity and high energy
• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
• Strong, positive attitude

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
