Screen Innovations is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform hands-on warehouse tasks on-site in Austin, TX. You will devan inbound containers, receive and inspect goods, box and pack orders, and prepare items for outbound shipment across all product lines.

You will also pick, load, and move materials while maintaining clean work areas and supporting safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in warehousing, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work well in a team

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Overview / SummaryThe Warehouse Associate performs the hands-on, day-to-day warehouse work that keeps Screen Innovations’ operations moving — receiving, devanning, boxing, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment across all product lines. Working on-site in a warehouse environment, the Warehouse Associate handles goods safely, accurately, and efficiently to support on-time fulfillment for both screen and shade product lines.This is a hands-on role reporting to the Warehouse and Inventory Manager. Warehouse Associates work across all product lines — both screens and window shades — and support the broader logistics and warehouse team in meeting daily production and shipping demands.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse OperationsDevan inbound containers: Safely and efficiently unload (devan) incoming shipping containers, and inspect and stage goods for receipt.Receive and inspect goods: Receive and inspect incoming goods and verify them against accompanying documentation.Box and package orders: Box, pack, label, and palletize finished goods and orders for shipment.Pick and prepare orders: Pick, stage, and prepare orders accurately for outbound shipment.Load and unload: Load and unload trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.Move and store materials: Move and put away materials and finished goods using pallet jacks, forklifts (as applicable), and other equipment.Maintain work areas: Keep work areas clean, organized, and operationally efficient, following 5S and housekeeping standards.Support all product lines: Responsibilities extend to all product lines, including both screens and window shades.Safety, Quality & ComplianceSupport safety compliance: Support compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.Follow safe practices: Follow safe material handling, loading, unloading, and warehouse practices.Maintain quality standards: Assist in maintaining operational quality standards.Communicate concerns: Identify and communicate safety concerns, damage, and issues to the appropriate lead or manager.Support audits: Support audits, inspections, and operational compliance initiatives as required.General DutiesSuggest improvements: Identify and suggest opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety.Additional responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned by management.Required QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.Ability to perform hands-on warehouse tasks, including boxing, loading, and devanning, across all product lines.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and documentation.Ability to follow instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.Reliability and commitment to a consistent, fully on-site schedule.Preferred QualificationsForklift certification or the ability to obtain certification (the company can provide training for qualified candidates).Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production warehouse environment.Prior experience using RF scanners or warehouse or ERP systems.Familiarity with 5S or continuous improvement practices.Physical RequirementsAbility to work on-site in a manufacturing and warehouse environment throughout the full shift, including standing and being on your feet for extended periods consistent with warehouse and manufacturing industry standards.Ability to move throughout the warehouse and production floor as required by daily operational and coordination activities.Ability to team lift and handle materials as needed within the warehouse environment, including lifting up to 300 lbs regularly and boxes that are in excess of 200 inchesAbility to perform the physical demands of warehouse work, such as loading and unloading trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles, and repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, and moving goods.Work Schedule & LocationLocation: 100% on-site at our Austin, TX manufacturing facility (9715 Burnet Road, Suite 400, Austin, TX 78758). This role cannot be performed remotely. No exceptions.Work Environment: Work takes place on-site in a warehouse environment.Current Schedule: Full-time, 100% on-site, Monday through Friday, standard daytime hours.Schedule Flexibility: Hours may adjust based on production and business needs but will remain within standard daytime plant operating hours, Monday through Friday.
