  • Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.
  • Coordinates transfers of inventory between departments and with other teams.
  • Maintains accurate records of inventory, equipment maintenance, and safety training.
  • Develops and manages processes for equipment maintenance and parts replacement.

Job description

  • Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy
  • Conducts physical inventory compares results to computerized inventory and reconciles any differences
  • Replenishes stock and inventory as needed
  • Ensures that all stock is stored incorrect locations in the warehouse
  • Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule
  • Schedules materials being transferred to and from the warehouse; coordinates the transfer of inventory between departments
  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices
  • Monitors expenditures; implement corrective actions if needed
  • Enforces operating instructions and safety policies
  • Resolves routine equipment issues
  • Maintains accurate records of inventory, equipment maintenance, and mandatory safety training
  • Develops and manages processes for equipment maintenance and parts replacement

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Small engine repair/maintenance experience required
  • Able to pass the Driving Background
  • Valid Driver' License is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • English speaking, bilingual preferred
  • Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED encouraged but not required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or related field required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
