Job summary

RightStone in Asheville, NC 28803 is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a 3-month temporary role. You will move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes, frequently lifting 24 lbs to 100+ lbs, with required physical agility.

Shift is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 5 days a week, with potential OT and weekend shifts depending on workload. Prioritizes safety and accuracy in order processing and material handling.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry boxes regularly (10–100 lbs).
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing as needed.
• Basic reading/writing in English to read orders and update systems.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and handle boxes, files, and supplies.
• Move, lift, load, and palletize items using hand trucks and pallets.
• Operate a proprietary or company tracking system and handheld scanners.

Job description

We are looking for dedicated Warehouse Associate in Asheville NC 28803 with $15.57/hr pay for a 3-month contract duration (temp only). In this role, you will play a vital part in the moving, arranging, lifting, and loading of storage boxes, bins, and totes. This position requires physical agility as you will frequently kneel, squat, reach, bend forward, and handle items ranging from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs. If you have the physical capabilities and attention to detail required for this role

Shift Schedule

7: 00 AM - 3: 30 PM (5 days a week including 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. OT and weekend shift depending on the workload)

Roles and Requirements

Process orders and handle items such as files, books, binders, and backup tapes. The work is physically demanding, involving manual lifting, carrying, and moving of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting. You should be capable of independently lifting and carrying boxes ranging from 10-100 lbs regularly. Operating hand trucks and pallet jacks on varying surfaces is also a key aspect of the role.

Essential Functions

For prolonged periodsExpertly load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and various material handling aidsLoad and shrink-wrap pallets on ground level or carts, and manually load boxes onto pallets and trucks.
