Job summary

Manpower is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift in Ankeny, IA. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Pay: $18–$19/hr with excellent benefits. Direct hire opportunity for a motivated individual in a fast-paced warehouse.

Duties include receiving goods, picking with a computerized system, packing, shipping, forklift loading/unloading, restocking, and assisting with cycle counts. Requirements: high school diploma; prior warehouse experience a plus. Drug test and background check required.

JOB TITLE: Warehouse Associate

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Receiving goods per Purchase Orders
• Accurately picking products using computerized warehouse management system
• Packing products into boxes and generating labels
• Shipping goods per Sales Orders to customers and creating associated paperwork
• Loading/Unloading trucks via forklift
• Restocking shelves
• Assisting in inventory cycle counts
• Keeping a clean and safe working environment
• Reporting discrepancies
• Communicating and cooperating with supervisor and coworkers

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to quickly switch from one function to the next.
Must be familiar with computers. Data entry will be required.
Must be willing to operate a forklift. Training provided.
Dependable and reliable.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High school diploma.
Previous warehouse experience a plus.
A drug test and background test is required upon hire.
