Job summary

LKQ Corporation in Alsip, IL is hiring for a warehouse associate to receive and store inbound product, pick and pack orders, and operate forklifts and other PIT equipment. This role supports efficient stock handling and order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with opportunities for growth, benefits, and a supportive team. Monday–Friday schedule, routine duties, and a focus on safety and accuracy are emphasized.

• Up to 1 year of related work experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prefer warehouse experience or equivalent environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store inbound product to designated locations.
• Pick and pull products and deliver to staging area or delivery truck.
• Operate manual or powered equipment to move stock inside the warehouse.
• Sort and store parts and supplies on racks or bins.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Support company policies and perform other duties as assigned.

Monday-Friday 10a-6:30p Starting Pay $20.00 Responsibilities can include duties aligned with shipping and/or receiving, processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. May also be responsible for operating manual/powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.**Essential Job Duties*** Receive and put away inbound product to designated location.* Pick/pull correct product from the appropriate locations and delivering to staging area/delivery truck.* Operate a manual/powered equipment to transport product in and about warehouse.* Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.* Maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.* Comply with established company policies and procedures.* Assumes other duties as assigned.**Supervisory Responsibilities*** Not responsible for supervising employees.**Minimum Requirements****Education & Experience*** Up to 1 year of work related experience.**Preferred Requirements*** High School Diploma/GED.* Warehouse, or similar, work environment, prior PIT (forklift, order picker, etc) experience.**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities*** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.* Basic computer skills.* Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records.* Problems encountered are simple, repetitive, and generally solved by clear directions and procedures.* Follows standard procedures with no decision making involved.* Uses guidance/guidelines provide by supervisor/manager.* Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.**Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment*** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods of time.* The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
