Job summary

NSI Industries is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team in California. This role involves picking, packing, labeling, and shipping customer orders accurately and on time, with emphasis on safety and attention to detail.

You will verify orders against tickets, label and pack shipments, stage for carrier pickup, and support receiving and inventory tasks as needed. Prior forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail in picking, labeling, packaging, and verifying shipments.
• Able to lift and handle products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer/data entry skills for processing shipping information.
• Effective written and verbal communication; able to work with teammates.
• Strong organizational skills; manage priorities in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.

• Stage completed orders for carrier pickup and support daily shipping deadlines.

• Follow safety procedures and support general warehouse operations as assigned.

Warehouse Associate

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous shipping, order fulfillment, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion throughout the workday.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to pick, pack, label, and handle shipping materials and products.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull products and packages up to 50 pounds.
• Visual ability to read labels, shipping documents, and inventory information accurately.
• Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.

Hourly Pay Rate Range: $21.00 - $26.00
