Job summary

OnTrac in Akron, OH is hiring Package Handlers to join our fast-paced operations team. You will unload trailers, sort packages by zip codes, and help keep the warehouse safe and efficient.

The role is part-time with shifts from 4:00 AM to 8:30 AM or until end of sort, approximately 16–20 hours over about four days per week. We offer a supplemental benefits plan, a 401(k) with company match, referral bonuses up to $500, paid sick leave where allowed, and premium pay on major holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic English proficiency required for safety and operation instructions.
• Ability to stand on feet for extended periods and perform warehouse tasks.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull and move items up to 75 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Adherence to safety protocols and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
• Assist with daily warehouse operations to maintain safety and efficiency.

Pay:$17/hr

Shifts Hours: 4 :00 AM to 8:30 AM or End of Sort.

(Variable days; approximately 4 days/week, 16-20 hours total)

Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” is defined as the completion of all required sort work for the day and clean-up activities, as directed by site management.

The Must-Haves:

• Ability to stay on your feet while working
• Ability to work in the heat and the cold as temperatures vary in the warehouse by season
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50lbs and occasionally up to 75lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written) required for understanding safety and operational instructions in a fast-paced warehouse environment
