ROMARK in Hazleton, PA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to unload and move product, operate forklifts with RF scanners, and maintain accurate inventory in a cold storage environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with material handling equipment, good math and attention to detail, ability to lift 35–75 lbs, and willingness to work daily overtime. DOT vision/hearing standards apply; safety and GMP compliance is essential.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating MHE and warehouse experience preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in heights up to 40 feet.
  • Ability to work in a cold storage (40°F).
  • Ability to stand continuously throughout the workday.
  • Ability to operate all equipment associated with a warehousing environment. (Forklift, deep reach, walkie, RF scanner)
  • Must be able to frequently lift 35 lbs to 50 lbs and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Must meet DOT sight and hearing requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work daily and weekend overtime to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Unload trailers and transport/put-away product.
  • Pick, transport and load product into trailers.
  • Report maintenance or repair needs to supervision.
  • Inspect MHE and complete preoperational checklists.
  • Use RF scanner to manage inventory movements.
  • Complete freight picking by selecting cases and palletizing.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintain safe, clean workplace following GMP and PPE.
  • Work independently to meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Details

Job Location: Hazleton, PA 18202Salary Range: $21.00 - $21.00 Hourly

  • Inbound responsibilities include ensuring the proper unloading of trailers, transporting and put-away of product.
  • Outbound responsibilities include the picking, transporting and loading of product into trailers.
  • Ensures any maintenance or repair issues for the building facilities, vehicles and equipment are communicated to supervision in a timely manner.
  • Inspects MHE and completes preoperational checklists.
  • Uses an RF scanner in a computerized inventory control system to manage product movements throughout the warehouse.
  • Completes freight picking orders by physically picking cases from location, palletizing product, and shrink wrapping pallets.
  • In the performance of duties will be required to operate a variety of material handling equipment including deep reach and stand-up forklifts, slip sheet machines, stock pickers and rider-walkies.
  • Exhibits safe behaviors and practices in the workplace to include wearing required PPE.
  • Responsible to follow good housekeeping and GMP to maintain a safe and clean working environment to include sweeping out trailers and picking up trash.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting quality and productivity standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
