Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of warehouse duties including pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy, conducting inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, and maintaining displays.
• Handle receiving duties such as unloading inbound material, processing shipments and stock material, processing returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping and general cleanup.
• May assist customers and prepare sales slips.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety rules and reporting incidents to management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptionalWarehouse Associate IIto join our TEAM! As theWarehouse Associate II, we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling/assembling customers orders, and inventory checks. This position involves the daily use of forklift equipment.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $17.13/hr and $20.45/hr at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the compensation package, which depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other company-sponsored benefit programs.

Primary Objective:

• Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Primary Function and Scope:

Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments and stock material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom, general office maintenance, etc.

May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.

Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules outlined in the Safety Program and reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.

Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

High School diploma or equivalent experience.

3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may sit, climb, balance, talk or hear. The associate must have the ability to regularly lift up to 15-30 lbs, and at certain times, you may be required to safely lift up to 70 lbs. Tile boxes or other materials that are longer than 36 inches or more than 70 lbs. in weight require a team lift.
