Job summary

Wilsonart in Denver is seeking a Warehouse Assistant I to join our team. You will replenish finished goods inventory from manufacturing, fill customer orders, inspect and pack materials, and support safety and quality processes in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You’ll work under supervision, learn packing techniques and material handling, operate a lift truck, and contribute to on-time deliveries while upholding our commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Ability to read and interpret customer orders.

Position Overview

Warehouse Assistant I Wilsonart, in Denver, currently has an opening for a Warehouse Assistant I. This person performs warehousing functions to replenish the finished goods inventory with material from the manufacturing facilities. Fills customer orders, inspects material and packs material for shipment as needed in the assigned department/location. Performs other tasks as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Receives all material from the manufacturing facilities and vendors
• Checks and places materials in the correct bin
• Checks material against the manifest and reports discrepancies
• Informs supervisor and photographs all defective materials
• Cuts down over‑sized laminate to fill pending orders
• Reads, interprets, processes, and packs orders
• Performs total skid count for loads
• Adhere to all established safety protocols and procedures
• Assists the needs of the customer

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GED EXPERIENCE 1+ years relevant warehouse experience

Physical Demands

Performing task with team members which includes lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs Frequent walking and standing throughout the day is also required.

Compensation

$20.35 - $25.10/HR, DOE The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Wilsonart, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
