• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse/shipping_receiving or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and procedures.

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems.
• Independent work and teamwork capability.
• Reliable attendance; may require occasional weekend work.
• Some weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving, including wrapping pallets and labeling.
• Verify inbound shipments and packaging materials.
• Operate floor sweeper and maintain warehouse housekeeping.
• Maintain inventory of supplies for cleaning, safety, and breakrooms.
• Perform routine inspections of eyewash stations, extinguishers, and lighting.
• Direct traffic and drivers to appropriate dock locations.

Chemisphere Corp. is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team in St. Louis, MO. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory, housekeeping, inspections, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Assist with shipping and receiving, including wrapping pallets, verifying orders, pallet tagging, packaging, and labeling.
• Verify inbound shipments, including drums, totes, pails, and packaging materials.
• Operate floor sweeper and perform routine warehouse housekeeping.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning, safety, restroom, and breakroom supplies.
• Perform routine inspections of eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, lighting, and glass/brittle plastic.
• Assist with directing traffic and drivers to appropriate dock locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse/inventory systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work occasional weekends as needed.
• Some weekend work may be required based on business needs.
