Job summary

Tecta America Arizona in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a warehouse assistant to support our operations. The role includes loading/unloading, inventory handling, and deliveries to job sites.

Starting pay is $18 per hour with potential increases based on experience; first shift from 4:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Candidates must be 18+ and able to pass background and drug screening. Forklift proficiency and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Work experience as general roof laborer, preferably in construction warehouse.
• Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
• Completion of background investigation and drug screening.
• Strong people skills.
• Physically strong and able to work in all seasons and conditions.
• Positive work history and solid attendance.
• Available to work extended hours.
• Excellent time management.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the work environment.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Accepting delivery of inventory.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
• Communicating errors to relevant parties.
• Marking and labeling stock.
• General labor including taking out trash and landscaping.
• Loading and wrapping stock and equipment on pallets.
• Building loads with forklift and pallet jack.
• Delivering materials to job sites and picking up materials from vendors.
• Processing paperwork for deliveries and warehouse tickets.
• Assist operations teams during loading and unloading of projects.
