The Good Bread Company is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Minneapolis. You will operate forklifts, drive a box truck, and manage inventory to keep a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, coordinating with drivers, and maintaining accurate records. This role demands reliability, safety awareness, and teamwork in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 2 years of warehouse and forklift experience.
• 1 year of experience driving box trucks.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.

Position Overview

The Good Bread Company is looking for a motivated, hard-working, and skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team! The Warehouse Associate will be asked to utilize their experience with forklifts, box trucks, and warehouse organization to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse. This includes, but is not limited to, forklift and pallet jack operation, box truck operation, communication with truck drivers for both shipments and deliveries, proper record keeping, and keeping accurate count of current inventories. Proper planning and organization is key to the success of this role and will help to create an efficient warehouse and define success in your role as a Warehouse Associate.

Shift Available

• 2nd Shift - 12pm-10:30pm, Monday - Thursday

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operates the forklift according to the company's guidelines
• Safely operates company vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Transports materials between company locations
• Locates and pulls supplies for production team
• Restocks products in assigned locations
• Prepares product for transport
• Reviews delivery and shipping labels for accuracy
• Visually inspects all ingredients and takes temperature of dairy products according to stated specifications
• Enters ingredient information into software programs
• Labels ingredients with receiving date and stores them
• Counts assigned inventory with great accuracy
• Maintains safety and cleanliness in the warehouse
• Ability to adapt to the needs of the business and assist in other areas of the bakery when needed

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record - CDL not required, but great to have
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2 years of warehouse and forklift experience
• 1 year of experience driving box trucks
• Ability to work efficientlywith minimal oversight
• Must be able to exert well-paced mobility for duration of the shift
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and move up to 50 pounds frequently
• Must possess good hand-eye coordination to safely operate the forklift

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for up to 10 hours, while working with and around machinery
• Able to stoop, bend and crouch on a regular basis
• Able to lift 60 pounds once per hour and 10 to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Able to sweep, mop, and do general, as well as detailed, cleaning
• Able to climb ladders
