Job summary

Precision Plumbing in Matthews, NC is seeking a Warehouse Assistant I to support daily warehouse operations, organize inventory, and ensure tools and materials are ready for field work.

You will load and verify deliveries, maintain safety equipment, assist with building and grounds upkeep, and complete special projects while following OSHA guidelines.

This entry-level role offers hands-on training, benefits, and growth opportunities through our NCCER Apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year of warehouse experience.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the warehouse and inventory.
• Load and verify materials, tools, and equipment for delivery.
• Maintain safety equipment (first aid kits, extinguishers) for vehicles and warehouse.

This role is responsible for ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and prepared for field operations. They also assist with loading deliveries, maintaining safety equipment, supporting building and grounds maintenance, and completing special projects as assigned.
