Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking an Asset & Logistics Lead to ensure tools and equipment are available where and when needed to support project execution. You’ll coordinate asset visibility, movement, and staging across warehouses and jobsites, working with field leadership and project teams to maximize utilization.

The role emphasizes accurate inventory, audits, and efficient asset deployment, with ongoing improvement of asset tracking and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse operations, inventory, logistics or asset management.
• Experience coordinating asset movement across multiple locations.
• Strong organizational and inventory control skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with inventory, warehouse, or asset tracking software preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of tools, equipment, and assets across warehouses and jobsites.
• Monitor asset utilization and location for visibility and accountability.
• Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and tracking issues.
• Support asset tracking systems, processes, and reporting tools.
• Coordinate movement of assets between jobsites and warehouses.
• Schedule and manage pickups, deliveries, transfers, and returns.
• Work with project leaders to anticipate asset requirements and allocation.
• Optimize asset deployment to maximize utilization and minimize downtime.
• Maintain documentation for asset transfers, deliveries, and returns.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset management and reporting.
