Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is looking for an entry-level Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates in Amazon’s fulfillment network. You will mentor, motivate, and manage a 50-100-strong team on-site in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will focus on coaching, safety, quality, attendance, and performance while developing your team to achieve goals. Strong communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates
  • Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
  • Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
  • Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs. While shifts vary site to site, most follow a fixed 4-day work week with 3 days off.
  • Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (at applicable facilities) and step in as needed.
  • Work in an environment where the noise level varies
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
  • Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)
