Job summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a Warehouse Apprentice to help stand up a new warehouse facility at APG, MD for the PM EW&C team. You will assist with material handling, shipping, and processes while learning Army ERP tools and safety procedures.

The role requires US citizenship, the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, and a valid driver’s license. Standing up to 8 hours daily and lifting up to 75 pounds are expected; Hazmat training within 18 months is expected.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate Army Enterprise Resource Planning Tools.
• Sort, store, and coordinate the issue of equipment to customers.
• Coordinate the turn-in of equipment from customers.
• Inspect items to ensure quantity and condition.
• Operate pallet jack, forklift, and other warehouse equipment.
• Build and assemble packages for shipment.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Generate reports.
• Obtain Hazmat Certification within 18 months.
• Prepare HAZDECS to support shipments.
• Other duties may be assigned.
