Consolidated Electrical Distributors in Grand Junction, CO seeks a Warehouse and Sales Associate to support warehouse operations and customer service. You will receive merchandise, stock materials, fulfill orders, and deliver local orders while assisting customers at the counter.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming material and ensure proper stocking.
• Maintain warehouse organization and stock material.
• Process and fulfill orders for customers.
• Perform local order delivery as needed.
• Complete data entry and paperwork for tasks.
• Assist customers at the sales counter and answer phones as required.

Description

Summary: CED is looking for a team member to work in a warehouse environment that services the electrical industry. We are a wholesale electrical distributor who sells to contractors, businesses, and the general public. Applicants should be comfortable working in and around a warehouse. This position entrails receiving merchandise, stocking material, order fulfillment, order delivery, and some sales. We are open to all ranges of experience and are looking for someone who would like to advance to a sales postion in the future. We will be providing on the job training in person and online to train the right person for this position.

Reports to: PC Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds (tools and equipment available to help)

• Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and twist

• Willingness to learn about electrical supplies

• Highschool or equivalent education

• Driver’s License and clean driving record

• Ability to work 7AM-4PM Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic customer service

• Basic math skills

• Ability to operate a forklift

Additional Competencies:

• Ability to work both independently and with a team

• Self-motivated

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment- mostly indoor.

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $20 to $24 hourly.
