Job Summary The Warehousing and Receiving Technician is responsible for managing all aspects of NGHS off-site storage facilities(s). Responsibilities include coordinating the cross dock (movement of supplies and materials) functions between off-site storage and all NGHS locations. This position is also responsible for managing the process for the disposal, transfer, donation or sale of unused medical equipment and furniture, in accordance to NGHS policy.
Licensure or other certifications: Educational Requirements: High School Diploma Minimum Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years prior work experience coordinating, negotiating, or transporting the logistics of inventory/supplies required. A combination of experience and college level course education pertaining to a related field may be substituted for direct experience. Other:

Utilization of software applications related to Supply Chain management Ability to work independently and use problem solving skills Microsoft Windows Software (Word, Excel, Outlook) Knowledge of commodity pricing benchmarking software Strong vendor management and negotiation skills Familiarity with accounting functions as it relates to the management of capital inventory
