STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is the in‑house engineering business line of Structural Group. We are currently hiring a Warehouse Technician for the warehouse located in Columbia, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Providing warehouse support, which could include inventory checks, equipment repairs and maintenance, invoice preparation and parts ordering.
• Receiving and inspection of incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock records.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational degree.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot.
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse, shop, plant environment.
• Maintenance and servicing equipment on project sites.
• Supporting project site utilizing specialized equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Skid steer and electrical knowledge preferred.
• OSHA certifications preferred.
• Prior experience with shipping and packaging hazardous materials preferred.
• Up to 10% of travel may be required for this position.
