Responsibilities

• Prep & staging: Pulling, testing, and staging equipment and event rental inventory according to pick sheets and project plans.
• Quality control: Inspecting, testing, and cleaning AV equipment, lighting, cables, staging, and rental decor upon return from job sites.
• Logistics & loading: Loading and unloading company box trucks and vans safely, efficiently, and with proper weight balance.
• Warehouse upkeep: Maintaining clean, organized, and safe warehouse workspaces and inventory bays so the shop runs like a well-oiled machine.
• Field execution: Assisting field teams on-site with load-in, build, teardown, and load-out for live shows and rental installs.
• On-site support: Working alongside event leads and technicians, supporting audio, video, lighting, staging, and rental setups.

About the Role

Centric Events is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse & Event Operations Associate to serve as an operational backbone for both our Live AV Production and Event Rentals divisions.

This role is primarily based in our Phoenix warehouse, where you will help prep, organize, test, and maintain the equipment that powers corporate events, conferences, and rental installations across Arizona. When event volume ramps up, this position flexes into the field—assisting our event execution teams with loading trucks, setting up equipment on-site, and supporting event delivery.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Warehouse Operations & Inventory (Primary Role)

• Professionalism: Representing Centric professionally when interacting with venues, vendors, and clients in public environments.

This is a hands-on role. Everyone at Centric contributes to physical setup and teardown regardless of experience level.

What Success Looks Like

• Accurate Prep: Event teams receive complete, fully prepped, and tested equipment—eliminating missing cable/gear surprises on-site.
• Organized Shop: Inventory bays stay clean, labelled, and easy to navigate.
• Smart Loading: Trucks are loaded safely, thoughtfully, and secured with e-track/straps to prevent damage in transit.
• Proactive Communication: Issues with broken gear or missing inventory are caught and flagged immediately.

• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends when live production schedules demand it.

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, staging, or logistics.
• Background or interest in live events, AV equipment, lighting, or commercial event rentals.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in how equipment works (wiring, hardware, basic tech repair).
• Prior experience in AV/Events is not required—we are happy to train motivated people who have the right attitude.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $18.00 – $25.00 / hour (Starting rate based on warehouse, logistics, and event experience)
• Pay Schedule: Paid biweekly via direct deposit
• Shift Bonus: Opportunities to pick up extra field/event execution hours

Schedule Expectations
