Job summary

United Supply, a Rheem company, is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our Northeast team, delivering HVAC products to contractors and multifamily properties. You will drive a box truck or van (non-CDL) and perform warehouse tasks with accuracy and safety.

The role is first shift, full-time, Monday to Friday, with pay between $20.00 and $23.00 per hour, and benefits including a 401(k) plan, medical-dental-vision insurance, life insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Experience driving a box truck or van (non-CDL).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and DOT requirements.
• Provide quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck or van, following all safety procedures per company policy.
• Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Load and unload trucks; back up other drivers' routes when needed.
• Operate a forklift or other warehouse machinery.
• Recognize damaged product and take appropriate action.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Drive a box truck or van, following all safety procedures per company policy

• Be proficient and perform the proper procedures for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Pull product, load and unload trucks when not performing driving duties


• Back up other drivers routes when needed

• Must be able to obtain or currently have a DOT medical card


• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service


• Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights of 20 ft. on a regular basis


• Forklift experience; forklift certification preferred


• Work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of time


• Willing to work overtime as needed


• Minimum of 1 year of satisfactory commercial driving experience, preferably with box trucks
