Job summary

Air General is hiring a full-time Warehouse Agent - Ocean Cargo at our Dallas Ocean facility in Dallas, Texas. You will support cargo transfers to clients and customers, with safety and security as a priority.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, tug and pallet jack; processing paperwork; loading/unloading; preparing cargo; ensuring paperwork accuracy and proper delivery; and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work with basic computer skills.
• Clear English communication and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift, tug and pallet jack.
• Process customer paperwork and shipping information.
• Load/unload cargo from/to vehicles/trucks.
• Prepare, palletize, and/or breakdown cargo as needed.
• Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is accurate.
• Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo.
• Clean up and sweep warehouse; dispose of garbage.
• Maintain safe operation of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow Hazmat and Security Requirements and Regulations.
• Handle all other duties as assigned by supervisor/management.

Warehouse duties include: handling the transfer of cargo to and from our client and their customers, with a strict adherence to safety and security procedures. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities include:

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess some basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs.
• Must be able to clearly understand and communicate in English when performing essential job functions.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and government security background checks, and post offer drug screens.
• Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced, high-noise environment, and meet deadlines.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm
