Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a part-time warehouse operations professional to support a facility focused on safety, security, and continuous improvement. The role entails maintaining procedures, ensuring a clean, safe environment, and overseeing equipment and process KPIs.

The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced setting and adapt priorities as needed. Responsibilities include enforcing safety standards, maintaining certification compliance, and collaborating with the team to improve

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification may be required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure work environment.

• Ensure equipment is maintained in safe operating condition.
• Oversee processes in the area of responsibility per OPS standards and KPI expectations.
• Improve safety, quality, delivery and cost through continuous improvement methods.
• Maintain compliance with facility certification requirements and government policies.
• Adapt to fast-paced environment and shift priorities as needed.
• Support Warehouse as a whole when needed.

Job Description

To supportthe Expeditors facility in the pursuit of Warehouse Excellence by embracing a culture of safety and security in a facility that is efficient and meets high quality standards through continuous improvement and modernization. Part-Time Approximately 20 hours a week.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
