Job summary

TA Services in Columbus, IN is seeking a detail-oriented dispatcher to join our team. You will enter inbound freight from Bills of Lading into CDM, verify skids, and keep the inbound schedule updated in Microsoft Teams.

This hourly role includes a 1st shift 6:00 AM–2:30 PM and 2nd shift 2:00 PM–10:30 PM with a $3 shift differential for second shift. PTO accrual and additional benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, shipping systems, and general office software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter inbound freight from Bills of Lading (BOL) into CDM and route to proper locations.
• Verify skid count and document any damages or shortages on the BOL; obtain driver initials.
• Update the inbound schedule in Microsoft Teams.
• Monitor radio communications and collaborate with the cross-dock team to resolve inbound issues.
• Scan “checked out” paperwork and file documentation appropriately.
• Office and warehouse setting.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Frequent use of computers, scanners, phones, and radios.

• Overtime may be required for shift coverage or operational needs

Additional Information

• $18.20 + $3 Shift Differential for 2nd Shift
• Accrue up to five days PTO in first year
