Job summary

HW Staffing co is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support receiving, picking, packing and shipping in our Florence, KY distribution center. You will follow SOPs and work in one of the warehouse functional areas to fulfill internal and external customer requests.

Key duties include processing orders by priority, using scanners, labeling shipments, and moving cartons with equipment while maintaining accuracy and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• General warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with scanners and computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process orders according to priority.
• Receive, pick, package, and label shipments.
• Move picking carts or powered industrial trucks to locations.
• Complete paper documentation for packing and shipping hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain clean, organized inventory.
• Verify storage conditions and report inventory issues.
• Assist team members to ensure customer satisfaction.

Warehouse Worker 1Monday - Friday 9AM-5:30PM $18.00Job Description:

Warehouse worker position following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to complete all internal and external customer requests. The position will be in one of the warehouse's functional areas, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processes orders according to prioritythe Supervisor/Group Lead setstomeet customer requirements.
• Receive,pick,package, andlabelshipments according to the Distribution SOP and work instructions.
• Maneuvers pickingcartsor powered industrialtrucksto various locations throughout the Distribution Center to locate materials and fulfill orders
• Completes paper documentation requirements for packing and shipping of hazardous chemicals.
• Practices good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat, clean, and orderly.
• Completes paper documentation requirements as outlined by DistributionSOPs
• Verifies proper storage conditions of products and notifiestheSupervisor of any inventory issues that may arise such as Can’t Finds, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.
• Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction including maintaining sufficient employee relations and teamwork.

• Must be proficient in all aspects of distribution and departmental standard operating procedures.
• General warehouse experience is preferred.

• Must be able to work independently andpossessproblem-solvingabilities.
• Ability to constantly stand and move aroundthedepartment required.
• Frequent walking, stooping, bending,and reaching required.
• Regular, reliable,and predictable attendanceisnecessary for adequate scheduling and coverage.
