Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL Driver to deliver and unload finished products to customer locations in Jacksonville, FL. You will operate a tractor-trailer locally and ensure safe, on-time deliveries while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires a valid Class A or B license, at least one year of verifiable driving experience, and a safety-first mindset. Expect competitive pay and a full benefits package. The position is safety sensitive and may involve overnight travel occasionally.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

• Currently hiring a CDL Driver to deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to our customer locations.
• Safely operate a tractor trailer combination locally.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting 50 lbs. during physically loading/unloading of trucks.
• Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.
• Willingness to assist in the warehouse as needed.
• Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• Valid Class A or Class B driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to meet State and Federal transportation and medical requirements to operate a three (3) axle vehicle.
• THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.

Travel Requirements

• Seventy-five (75%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle.
• The remainder of work activities is performed outdoors and in a warehouse setting.
• May require overnight travel.

Physical Requirements

• This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
• The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range

$20.00 - $40.00
