Job summary

Carroll Construction Supply seeks a General Laborer/Yard Laborer to assist with loading and unloading trucks, cleaning and handling concrete forms, and fulfilling yard orders. The role involves outdoor work, team-based operations, and accurate loading practices to meet delivery schedules.

Forklift use may be required; a valid driver's license and the ability to pass pre-employment drug/physical testing are expected. Steel-toe boots are required for daily duties.

Qualifications

• Previous knowledge and experience in the building materials industry is beneficial but not required.
• Forklift experience is beneficial but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug and physical testing.
• Team player with a positive, reliable work ethic.
• Steel-toe boots and safety awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and moving product within the yard.
• Clean and handle concrete forms and assist with warehouse duties as needed.
• Pick and fulfill orders and ensure loads are accurate and on time.
• Work outdoors in various site conditions and occasional forklift movement.

Carroll Construction Supply is in need of a General Laborer and Yard Laborer who will assist with loading and unloading trucks, cleaning and handling concrete forms, picking/fulfilling orders, and other warehouse duties. Our warehouse people play a big role in our day-to-day operations as they heavily work with others to assure accuracy of loads and delivery of product is done right and on time. Forklift use may be required to assist with loading and movement of product, as well as direct handling of materials. Required to work outdoors in various site conditions, which may include direct sunlight and variable temperatures.
