Qualifications

• Complete a medicines management qualification to assess patients' own medicines and provide a medication supply.
• Excellent communication skills and a flexible, self-motivated approach.
• Computer literacy with training on pharmacy systems to be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacy Medicines Management Team at ward level to ensure smooth discharge, assess patients' own medicines, and arrange medicines to prevent missed doses.
• Support transfer of medicines between wards, label and dispense medicines for patients, and manage returns from wards.
• Visit wards to provide medicines provision and work as part of a team to provide a quality dispensing service.
