Job summary

Coty is seeking a Walmart Category Analyst in Bentonville, AR to shape analytics and drive category leadership for one of the world’s largest beauty retailers. You will deliver data-driven insights, support retail execution, and coordinate cross-functional projects with the Beauty Category Management team.

You’ll develop expertise in analytics platforms and shopper insights, partnering with internal teams and Walmart to deliver best-in-class reporting and actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Retail, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Category Management, Sales Analytics, Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, lookups, and data analysis.
• Experience utilizing syndicated or retail data platforms such as NielsenIQ, Circana (IRI), Scintilla, or similar BI tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver recurring customer reporting using Scintilla, Excel, and Walmart tools to provide actionable insights.
• Analyze monthly Share of Market performance through Nielsen data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Translate data into concise business stories and presentation-ready recommendations for leadership and Walmart meetings.
• Maintain item attribution and data accuracy across Nielsen, Shopper Behavior, and Crisp platforms for reporting consistency.
• Coordinate store and modular execution activities, including Walmart Trait Collaboration, store list maintenance, and modular setup for reviews.
• Support category projects by monitoring beauty industry trends and assisting with Walmart timelines and cross-functional execution.
