Role Description

The Wallpaper Installer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing surfaces, measuring and cutting materials, installing a variety of luxury wallcoverings, and ensuring clean, precise finishes. The role involves reading and interpreting design plans, coordinating with designers and clients, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Installers will handle tools and equipment, manage small on-site adjustments, and troubleshoot installation challenges while protecting surrounding furnishings and finishes. The position also requires consistent communication with project managers and adherence to schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on installation skills, including surface preparation, measuring, cutting, and fitting various wallcovering materials.
• Ability to read and follow design plans, layouts, and technical specifications with strong attention to detail.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely, with solid understanding of job-site safety practices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients, designers, and team members.
• Good physical stamina and dexterity, including the ability to stand, climb ladders, and lift materials throughout the workday.
• Prior experience in wallpaper installation, painting, or related finish trades in high-end residential or commercial settings is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to Fort Lauderdale job sites and flexibility to work varying schedules based on project needs.
