Qualifications

• Experience installing vinyl, fabric, paper, textured and specialty wallcoverings.
• Ability to read blueprints, finish schedules, specifications and work orders.
• Commitment to quality craftsmanship and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare walls and surfaces for wallcovering installation, including cleaning, patching, sanding, and priming.
• Measure, cut, and install wallcoverings (vinyl, fabric, paper, textured and specialty).
• Match patterns and align seams for a professional finish.
• Apply adhesives, primers, and installation materials per manufacturer specs.
• Install borders, murals, and custom wallcovering systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, finish schedules, specifications, and work orders.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts as required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Coordinate with painters, drywall finishers, glaziers, and other trades to meet schedules.
• Inspect installations to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA regulations and union work practices.
