Job summary
SPS Corporation is seeking a Metal Panel Mechanic to install ACM/IMP panels, louvers, and related systems on commercial buildings. The role requires precise fit, adherence to specifications, and strict safety practices on diverse job sites.
Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in wall cladding or paneling, read blueprints, and operate power tools and lifts. Travel to various sites and teamwork are essential requirements for this field position.
Qualifications
- Experience with wall cladding or paneling systems.
- Ability to read construction drawings and shop orders.
- Willing to travel to different job sites.
- Able to work at exterior heights and in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install panel systems per project specifications.
- Read blueprints and shop drawings to determine layout.
- Load, transport, and install materials and components on-site.
- Ensure water-tight, structurally sound installations and proper anchoring.
- Maintain tools and workspace; follow safety guidelines and PPE.
- Mentor helpers and collaborate with foreman and trades on-site.
