Job summary

US LBM is seeking a working lead for wall assembly. You will direct the work of Assemblers, supervise a small team, and ensure production meets safety and quality standards.

Requires 4–6 years of wall assembly experience and a High School diploma or equivalent. Must read a tape measure and operate basic tools; overtime may be required. Pay is $23.00–$24.00 per hour on 1st or 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of wall assembly experience.
• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use basic assembly tools.

Responsibilities

• Lay out wall component supplies and materials on carts or floor.
• Stock plates for component set-up.
• Assemble components under line leaders.
• Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets.
• Receive incoming products and materials.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Assist in setup of component assembly process.
• Monitor production workflow and assist as needed.
• Operate equipment necessary to assembly process.
• Adhere to safety rules and PPE usage.
