Job summary

Private Eye Protection is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets. You will maintain a strong presence, deter unlawful behavior, and respond to incidents at various sites in Georgia.

The role reports to a Sergeant and requires a 21+ age, a valid Georgia driver’s license, and weekend availability. Training, uniforms, and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of security, law enforcement, or related experience (preferred).
• Eligible for Georgia 24-hour unarmed security certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Smartphone with full internet capability required.
• MUST be 21 years of age.
• MUST have open weekend availability; evenings and holidays also required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned sites, including perimeters and buildings.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and control access to facilities.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activity.
• Enforce site-specific rules and report violations.
• Write clear, detailed incident reports and communicate with supervisors and law enforcement as needed.
• Support emergency response efforts.
• Operate metal detectors or screening devices if required.

• MUST have open availability on weekends. Evening and holiday availability is also required.

Work Environment
