Job summary

Hebrew SeniorLife is seeking on-site Wait Staff to greet residents, take orders, and serve meals in the dining room. You will also help maintain a clean dining environment and restock supplies to ensure smooth service.

The role requires excellent customer service, reliability, and the ability to multi-task while communicating professionally with residents and staff. Previous wait staff experience and fluency in English are preferred.

Job Description

I. Position Summary: The Wait staff will be responsible for greeting and serving food to the residents, and for cleaning the dining room and filling and restocking supplies.

II. Position Responsibilities

• Set Resident up for meal


• Responsible for taking food order


• Request any special order from the Culinary Staff


• Serve food to the residents


• Remove dirty dishes from tables and clear to the wait stations


• Wipe down tables and chairs


• Fill and Restock all food, china and glasses in weight stations


• Assist Culinary Associate with cleaning as needed.


• Clock in at scheduled time and be in uniform when you start your shift
