Job Summary

Greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and deliver items efficiently in the dining room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Promptly and warmly greet guests; take orders following established service steps.
2. Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain food safety and sanitation standards; assist guests with needs or requests.
3. Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate dietary requests and note preferences.
4. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
5. Exhibit excellent communication skills; remain flexible and patient with guests and staff.
6. Handle tickets and cash following proper procedures.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
8. Respect confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
9. Address complaints promptly and relay issues to supervisors.
10. Prepare and clean the dining area before and after service, meeting sanitation standards.
11. Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines.
12. Assist during special events and collaborate with other departments.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
