Job Summary

Take food and beverage orders and efficiently deliver items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet guests and take orders efficiently.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Follow up to assist with additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items, ingredients, and specialized diets or allergens.
• Communicate directly with back‑of‑house staff to ensure correct orders and special requests.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills, working flexibly and patiently with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash‑handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
• Promptly address complaints or issues and report to supervisor.
• Ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service and keep area clean while meeting sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Collaborate with other departments for special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
