Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a friendly Wait Staff (non-tipped) to join our full-time team in McLean, VA. The role involves greeting guests, serving food and beverages, and assisting with menus in coffee shops, lunchrooms, and other dining spaces.

Typical shifts are mornings on weekdays. No tipping, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for growth are available within Sodexo.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 0 – 1 year of related experience
• Previous experience in fine dining, catering, or banquet serving may be required at certain locations

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to patrons at counters and tables in coffee shops, lunchrooms, and other dining establishments.
• Present menus to customers, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Duties include: memorizing or writing order on check, relaying order to kitchen and serving food and beverages from kitchen and service bars.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
