Job summary

Presbyterian Living's Lake Forest Place in Lake Forest, IL is seeking a friendly Wait Staff to join our dining team. This part-time role supports dining room operations, serves meals and beverages, and uses a tablet for order taking to ensure accuracy.

Shifts run 4pm–9pm with open availability weekdays, weekends, and holidays. English proficiency and 2+ years serving experience are preferred; Serve Safe certification is preferred or willing to complete, with a mission-driven, resident-centered

Qualifications

• 2+ years serving/waitstaff experience preferred
• Serve Safe Food handler certification preferred, or willing to complete
• English language proficiency

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks before, during, and after dining room operations, including menu review and side jobs.
• Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence.
• Utilize a tablet for order taking with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of meals offered and adhere to dietary modifications as needed.
• Keep tables neat and clean, promptly removing soiled dishes and resetting tables uniformly.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, addressing any complaints or unsafe conditions.
