Job summary

The Terraces of Boise, a HumanGood community, is seeking friendly Wait Staff to join our on-site dining team in Boise, ID. You will set up and work on traylines, serve residents, wash dishes, and help maintain dining room cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Prior food service, fast food or restaurant experience.
• Prior experience working with seniors (preferred).
• Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification (preferred).
• Availability that might include weekends, and holidays.

• Greets residents and guests promptly as they arrive.
• Informs guests of daily specials and makes recommendations.
• Completes bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed.
• Refills beverages throughout the meal service.
• Assists residents with plates or trays and responds to resident requests.

The Terraces of Boise in Boise, ID, a HumanGood community nationally rated as 2025-2026 Best Senior Living community for Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care by U.S News & World Report, is looking for talented Wait Staff to join our team!Our wait staff team members perform all duties associated with setting up and working on a trayline, serving food to residents, washing dishes and/or pots and pans, bussing dishes, prepping food, such as salads, desserts, garnishes and/or maintaining cleanliness of food and dining room areas.

Wage range: $16-$18/hr depending on experience
Full Time Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7am-4pm (occasional w/ends).

Work Duties

• Greets residents and guests promptly as they arrive
• Informs guests of daily specials, makes recommendations;

• Keeps alert to resident requests and special needs; assists residents with plates or trays;

To be successful in the role, you would have:
