Job summary

Nokia in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a WFAB Operator to support wafer fabrication of optical components. You will run and set up automated equipment, ensure quality, and drive on-time delivery in a collaborative team.

This role emphasizes accuracy, hand-eye coordination, and adherence to safety and process standards. Shift is 4 hours (6AM to 6AM), Monday to Wednesday and every other Thursday, with no differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
• Good hand-eye coordination for handling delicate wafers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with automated wafer fabrication equipment and data entry software.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain multiple automated wafer fabrication equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Execute wafer fab processes with precision, adhering to established protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and timelines.
• Monitor and report production and equipment issues to relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Conduct regular data entry tasks and maintain up-to-date production records.
• Manage and organize workflow in a fast-paced fab environment.
• Demonstrate hand-eye coordination while handling delicate wafers during production.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
