Job summary

IVAM Microtechnology Network in Lubbock, TX seeks a production associate to operate high-tech equipment in a semiconductor wafer fab. The role requires prolonged standing (10–12 hours daily) and the ability to keep clear, accurate records with minimal supervision.

You will recognize problems, take corrective actions, and serve as an individual contributor to the manufacturing team while ensuring proper material handling.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; substitution possible with 10 years of solid work history.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Proficient in basic mathematics and accurate record-keeping.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and operate equipment safely.

Functions / Duties:
Operate various pieces of high-tech equipment in a semiconductor wafer fab in Lubbock, Texas. Requires
prolonged standing (10 to 12 hours per day). Must be able to keep clear, accurate records & work with a minimum
of supervision. Must be able to recognize problems & take appropriate corrective actions; be an individual
contributor to the manufacturing team; be directly responsible for material management.

• Ability to read and follow instructions, use simple mathematics & keep accurate production records.
• Extreme accuracy in data recording, transferring and in arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to operate a personal computer.
• Must be able to use a microscope.
• Accurately communicate verbally and in written form.
• Must conform to special dress requirements which include wearing no cosmetics, perfume or cologne.
• Good dexterity and ability to use the hands for handling the product.

Job requirements
